This is a client-side position overseeing M&E works delivered by external contractors. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior M&E Project Engineer, Project Managers, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure installations are completed safely, on programme and in accordance with approved designs, specifications and relevant British Standards. New M&E systems must be coordinated within an existing structure. Design development and technical queries need to be managed proactively. Multiple specialist subcontractors and consultants need to be coordinated. Quality and attention to detail are critical. Programme and commercial considerations must be balanced with technical requirements. The project is being delivered to a high-quality CAT A fit-out standard. Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience as a Senior Technical Services Manager, Technical Services Manager, M&E Manager or similar within the construction industry. Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge. Significant experience delivering commercial refurbishment, fit-out or CAT A projects. Experience managing M&E subcontractors and specialist contractors. Strong understanding of M&E design coordination and technical delivery. Experience working closely with design teams, consultants and main contractors. Ability to manage technical issues and drive solutions through to completion. Strong understanding of construction programmes and project delivery. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
