THE ROLE
Your role will consist of: -
* As a member of the SMT, support the Managing Director with corporate governance and strategic management in all aspects of improving the business.
* Network and build rapport with industry decision makers (architects, consultants & main contractors) to become the key contact to assist with technical queries and provide expert opinion and knowledge.
* Provide support and guidance to the Estimating team by assisting them with technical design queries. Ensure they have suitable design drawings and concepts to submit with larger tenders.
* Attend tender interviews, to ensure you win contracts in line with financial targets.
* Attend further tender-related meetings on technical issues as required.
* Assist Estimating and provide technical input at handover meetings.
* In order to ensure continuity from tender stage through to design independence, attend initial Design Team meetings with client representatives, providing technical input and advice. The company holds social events and have quarterly awards ceremonies, where hard workers are well looked after and rewarded. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join them.
The position is for a project manager / senior project manager to run a really interesting development at a famous, abandoned 19th century estate that has been purchased by the developer. The listed buildings will be refurbished into 300 apartments. Their work here is mostly refurb, with the first phase of 70no apartments, and then two further phases.
This is a Listed Building, and involves major cut & carve work, including new lifts etc. There are also some external works; re-roofing and some external facade
The apartments are all private, for sale via themselves.
They have started on site, setting up accommodation and looking to get going in the next 4-6 weeks with asbestos removal and soft strip. The first units to come out will be at the end of 2021.
The infrastructure is being carried out by others, but there are a lot of grounds so there will be some external landscaping.

This role is to start immediately and will be involved with multiple facades projects across Manchester.
We are looking for a Facades & Cladding experienced Project Manager who can start immediately.
The Role
* Ensure that all works on site are executed in line with our Health & Safety Policies.
* Work closely with the PM and evaluate all outstanding works on site and produce a close out tracker to monitor works complete.
* Evaluate material requirements and coordinate with the PM to get materials to site and installed.
* Produce a programme to complete the works (excel)
* Produce comprehensive daily diaries and upload them to the company drive for senior management to review. Ensuring that photographs are included.

This role is to start immediately and will be involved with multiple facades projects across Manchester.
We are looking for a Facades & Cladding experienced Project Manager who can start immediately.
The Role
* Ensure that all works on site are executed in line with our Health & Safety Policies.
* Work closely with the PM and evaluate all outstanding works on site and produce a close out tracker to monitor works complete.
* Evaluate material requirements and coordinate with the PM to get materials to site and installed.
* Produce a programme to complete the works (excel)
* Produce comprehensive daily diaries and upload them to the company drive for senior management to review. Ensuring that photographs are included.
* Attend daily site coordination meetings with the main contractor.
* Liaise directly with our sub-contract labour, to co-ordinate works ensuring that the programme to complete is maintained.
* Be initial point of contact on site for the Main Contractor
* Plan and achieve project handover via the field view system
* Programme and execute any snagging works as a result of the handovers.
* Oversee new installation works
* Provide weekly progress reports to the PM
Your Requirements
* SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Card
* Our ideal candidate will live within travelling distance to the project, or be will willing to stay locally in a hotel.
* Good communication skills.
* They must be fully conversant with MS Office, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Experience dealing with the Fieldview handover system
* Previous experience with a specialist sub-contractor - strong Facades/ Cladding - preferably working on Tier 1 MC sites.
* Experience with lifting activities

The company holds social events and have quarterly awards ceremonies, where hard workers are well looked after and rewarded. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join them.
The position is for a project manager / senior project manager to run a really interesting development at a famous, abandoned 19th century estate that has been purchased by the developer. The listed buildings will be refurbished into 300 apartments. Their work here is mostly refurb, with the first phase of 70no apartments, and then two further phases.
This is a Listed Building, and involves major cut & carve work, including new lifts etc. There are also some external works; re-roofing and some external facade
The apartments are all private, for sale via themselves.
They have started on site, setting up accommodation and looking to get going in the next 4-6 weeks with asbestos removal and soft strip. The first units to come out will be at the end of 2021.
The infrastructure is being carried out by others, but there are a lot of grounds so there will be some external landscaping.
The Project Manager Role and Experience needed:
·Fully autonomy for the delivery of the project
·Supported by an onsite contracts manager, due to the amount of collaboration between the trust, another contractor and a developer also working on the estate.
·Team will include a site manager, assistant and site secretary
·Must have a track record of time spent with reputable contractor or developers.
·Previous heritage / listed building experience is essential

Job Title: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Reports To: Divisional Director
The position of a Senior Project Manager is the next step towards taking full responsibility for overall site control for a project within the Company and as such the individual is required to maintain a professional persona at all times whilst representing the Company.
The Senior Project Manager in addition to their own duties must be fully conversant with the roles and responsibilities of more junior staff and should be willing to assist them in performing such tasks as and when necessary.
The specific duties which the Senior Project Manager must undertake are, but not limited to, as follows:
•Attend the handover meeting between the Estimating and Operations Departments.
•Have a thorough working knowledge of the project including all drawings, specifications, programme etc.
•Fully understand all site drawings, schedules, details, through sections etc. and have a full understanding of the operations at hand to ensure the successful delivery of the works.
•Compare tender drawings and specifications against construction issue drawings and specifications and any revisions, highlighting any changes to the Commercial Manager to ensure the recovery of any additional costs.
•Be able to undertake or source engineering services in respect of setting out of the works accurately.
•Source labour to resource the project.
•Make recommendations to the Contracts Director in respect of the right personnel to form the project team.
•Be able to communicate adequately with site labour.
•Take the lead in all matters relating to Health & Safety and minimise any risks in conjunction with the Survey Health & Safety Officer. Report all accidents no matter how minor.
•Keep up to date with product developments in the market sector.
•Ensure the works are inspected at each key stage making sure they meet the standard required.
•Arrange for the works to be inspected by the manufacturer if required.
•Liaise with the main contractor with regards to the inspection regime giving them the opportunity to attend any inspections.
•Ensure all plant is organised, used in a cost effective manner and is off hired immediately when not required.
•Must be able to produce spread sheets in Excel and write basic letters and memo’s in word as necessary.
•Maintain a full site diary recording all issues for reporting back to the site team.
