The Role The Senior Chartered Building Surveyor will be responsible for: Managing and delivering a range of professional instructions, including: Building condition surveys and technical due diligence Defect diagnosis and building pathology reports Dilapidations (landlord and tenant) Schedules of condition and planned maintenance surveys Party wall and neighbourly matters Leading project work, such as: Refurbishment, repair and alteration projects across residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors Feasibility studies, options appraisals and budget cost advice Preparing specifications and schedules of work Acting as Contract Administrator / Employer s Agent on a variety of schemes Acting as a key client contact, helping to grow relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery Supporting and mentoring junior and APC-level surveyors Clients include local authorities, housing associations, education providers, commercial owners/occupiers, healthcare organisations and private clients.
