Your new company A large environmental company is looking for a Semi-Skilled Labourer/Groundworker on a permanent basis to work out of their yard in Bangor Co. Down. Your new role What You'll Do: Carry out site work following safety protocols which will include hand digging, using hand and power tools, general labouring duties, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy. Assist the Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks. Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes. Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management. What you'll need to succeed What they are looking for: Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc. Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential). CSR or CSCS certification (essential). Full UK driving licence (essential). Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required. Must have the right to work in the UK. Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to maintaining high standards on site. You will be working as part of a busy construction crew and supporting day-to-day groundwork operations. Applicants should have a minimum of one year's experience within a similar role and hold a valid CSCS card.
