Responsibilities: ·Servicing of customer fire extinguishers to relevant British Standards whilst adhering to health & safety requirements ·Identifying sales opportunities and negotiating with customer to obtain sale delivery and initial service of equipment, fixing of wall brackets and collection of equipment as required ·Ensuring that all work activity meets company targets and that operating procedures are followed ·Using communication skills to identify and liaise with responsible person on site to obtain sign off for work undertaken and authority for purchase of any additional requirements ·Ensuring all administration is accurate and presented on time ·To maintain adequate van stocks/spares and to ensure securely stowed/safely transported ·Some out of hours working will be necessary so flexibility is essential Essential Skills ·Must be capable of using basic hand tools (Screwdrivers, Spanners, Drills etc.) ·Excellent communication skills ·Highly self-motivated and eager to achieve targets ·Flexible attitude and willing to learn ·Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved) ·Full UK Driving License (under 6 points) This role could suit a number of professionss like Meter Readers, Caretakers, Handyman, Handywoman, Royal Mail staff.
