Working for an established Housing Association in Hertfordshire, I have an opportunity for a Domestic Gas Engineer on a 6 month fixed term contract. Key responsibilities for this role will be to provide a comprehensive gas service and repairs to domestic premises in accordance with safety regulations.
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, working on a mobile basis, you will be required to carry out the following duties:
· Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
· Advise on and delivers effective, accurate and professional technical solutions to the clients customers.
· You will service domestic gas appliances including boilers, fires and water heaters.
· Competent in all areas of domestic plumbing you will diagnose faults and repairs with all gas appliances
· Carrying out minor remedial works.
Successful Domestic Gas Engineers will have the following qualifications and experience
· Previous experience of a similar role working for a maintenance contractor.
· Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
· Be able to use electronic handheld devices
· Hold CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1 and HTR1 qualifications
The salary and package is dependant on experience but typically includes:
· Good competitive salary
· Fully expensed van
· Overtime
