Job Description: Construction Trades & Labour Team Project: New Build Large Residential Development Location: St Brelade, Jersey Channel Islands Project Type: Multi-Storey Residential Development / Apartment Building Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract Reporting To: Site Manager / Project Manager / Construction Director Overview We are seeking skilled, semi-skilled, and general construction personnel for the delivery of a large-scale residential new build development. The project requires experienced professionals across all major construction trades and labour disciplines to support the successful completion of structural, architectural, civil, and finishing works in accordance with programme, quality, and health & safety standards. Successful candidates will work collaboratively within a fast-paced construction environment and must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, technical competence, and a strong commitment to safety and workmanship. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (trade dependent). IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS/SSSTS, or confined space certifications advantageous where applicable. Health & Safety Requirements All personnel must: Wear appropriate PPE at all times. Adhere to CDM Regulations and site safety procedures. Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings. Plumber Pipefitter Trowbridge, Wilts - Start 8th June or ASAP - 5 months work - £26.00 per hour , AndersElite need Plumber Pipefitters for a commercial project in Trowbridge, Wiltshire on a busy building site to start on Monday 8th June. This is to work on a commercial development (leisure facilities) involving the installation of press fit copper and some carbon steel pipework. You must have a valid CSCS or Jib skill card in order to apply. You will ideally also have a valid IPAF card in order to operate the scissor lift as some work will be at high level. The project involves the installation and assembly of large prefabricated horizontal modules located across two roof areas. The modules include large bore pipework, containment systems, and copper pipework, which will be installed onto secondary steel support frames before being connected and tested on site. Duties Carry out all aspects of pipefitting work. Assemble prefabricated pipework modules delivered to site. Install and connect large bore steel, screwed, MAPPRESS, bolted, and copper pipework systems. Work from drawings and site instructions. Assist with the assembly of modules within steel support frames. Support pressure testing and commissioning activities, including air testing of pipework. Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety. Requirements Experience working with steel, screwed, MAPPRESS, bolted, and copper pipework.
