They operate over a broad range of sectors and this role sits in their residential team. There would however be the opportunity to work on projects in other sectors further down the line. The role would suit either a Part II qualified Architectural Assistant or a CIAT qualified Technologist. Initially you will be working on a new project the practice has just one which is a London based, high density, 82 unit apartment development. This is a great opportunity to see this project through its lifecycle and the exposure you will receive will provide valuable career development experience. The practice uses Revit and they require previous experience using this package. You must also have experience or a keen interest in residential development of this type. A Surrey based practice, specialising in high-end, one off, traditional and contemporary residential projects, is looking for a Part I Architectural Assistant or an Architectural Technologist. The practice has around 20 staff and is located near a mainline station only 45 minutes from London. Ample car parking space is also available. Supporting the Architects over a number of interesting and bespoke projects, your primary role will be to produce technical drawing packages generally from planning through to delivery. Furthermore, the practice proactively invests in their staff and would be happy to support someone looking to achieve their MCIAT or Part II and beyond. Software currently used is AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp but training would be provided to someone fluent with other packages. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working at the delivery end of residential projects.
