My client undertakes works from £20,000 to £5million which include all aspects of Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical and Electrical works. As an Estimator you will have the following duties and responsibilities: – Understand and scrutinise project specifications, drawings and measuring/take offs for materials and labour then inputting information onto the system. Timely preparation of and submission of tenders. Carry out site visit & surveys. Identify and present tender qualifications and exclusions. Able to manage multiple projects and still work to tight deadlines. Liaising with clients, consultants & main contractors to provide value engineered proposals. Experience of time served as an Estimator within this environment or a good understanding of plumbing, heating, mechanical & electrical services. Experience of working accurately and effectively with minimal supervision. Experience of working under pressure. Qualifications are desirable, HNC/ONC in Building Services Engineering.
