Job Description
We are currently expanding our operations throughout the UK and seeking a dedicated Field Technician to spearhead deployments for our customers in your area. This role will involve working nights and attending installations at various clients, where our product will be installed. As a crucial member of our team, you will assume accountability for the successful deployment, maintenance, and adoption of our system. Physical stamina, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to meet quality and speed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Attend scheduled installations at various clients during night hours.
Installation of Focal Systems product onto shelves, ceilings, and other equipment as per installation plans and specifications.
Onboarding/scanning products into the system
Onsite and offsite maintenance
Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during installations.

Duties PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant systems Resolving any lighting/power issues on the site Fire alarm test Emergency light testing Sprinkler testing HVAC maintenance - fault finding and repair to AHUs/FCUs and general AC systems CRAC system maintenance Networking/IT configuration skills (desirable, though not essential) Generator testing Locating faults on BMS Chiller resets and repair work Fault finding on pumps Maintenance on switchgears/panels Requirements Min. 3 years commercial building services maintenance experience Critical site experience - hospital, data centre, critical banking building C&G / NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations (or equivalent) C&G 18th Edition High-voltage maintenance experience (essential) Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
