For the initial 13 weeks you MUST pick the van up and drop off to the office each day The successful candidate will have: At least three year s experience working with fire doors Valid CSCS Card A valid DBS is beneficial NVQ or equivalent in carpentry A strong background in carpentry and joinery Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance Experience installing fire doors and frames Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames Experience working on social housing FRA contracts Roles and responsibilities Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors Complete works in line with the manufacture s specification Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work Liaise with customers and members of the general public, tenants, clients and customers.
