The BIM Modeller plays a critical role within the Engineering Directorate, focusing on the production and coordination of high-quality 3D CAD models with embedded data and ensuring their alignment with project standards and the BIM Execution Plan. This role is based in West London and Waterloo with the opportunity for hybrid working. Key Responsibility's Assist in the delivery and management of projects from technical design to construction stage to ensure compliance and delivered to project standards. Responsible for implementing best practice and consistent processes across the project, this includes liaising with project stakeholders and the supply chain to ensure the correct standards are applied. Responsible for quality processes and quality standards of all deliverables, including exchange information and conversion processes. Utilise Bentley ProjectWise with OpenBuilding Designer, RaceWAY and MicroStation for detailed 3D CAD model creation and documentation, ensuring models are fully coordinated and by using clash avoidance tools which are embedded within the digital twin used on the project. Liaise with discipline BIM leads to ensure optimized clash results using suppression rules based on modelling methods. Lead the production of high-quality 3D CAD models and detailed construction drawings for specific elements of railway station projects, ensuring integration with overall project information models. Produce model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and outline information within the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Ensure all models that are submitted, meet the project requirements set out, and Ensure systems are in place for clash avoidance, internal model audits and clash detection before model submission. Support and liaise with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager and wider project joint venture team in the implementation of deliverables adhering to specified project standards and to facilitate issue resolution. Assist in the maintenance of the project's ProjectWise Common Data Environment, ensuring accurate and timely information flow and adherence to data management standards. Participate in quality assurance checks of to ensure they meet the project's accuracy, detail, and the employers information requirements. Assist in monitoring compliance with the BEP and the supporting project standards, contributing to regular reports on BIM deliverable status.
