Requirements: Proven experience as Heating Engineer/ Gas Engineer and ideally with ASHP experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Ideally having technical knowledge of heating systems/ air source heat pump systems including, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines pertaining to heating systems and ASHP s. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve system issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Full driving license and willingness to travel to different sites local to you, as required. Relevant certifications or qualifications in renewable energy, HVAC, or related fields would be advantageous. City and Guilds/ NVQ in Plumbing. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a plumbing background to carry out pre planned and reactive maintenance across their commercial sites in and around Southampton. This is a Monday to Friday position working 40 hours a week, you will need to participate in an on call rota which you will receive a competitive standby rate and additional overtime rates for call outs.
