Working Groundworker Foreman/Supervisor required with HSG47 as a Permit Holder on a live National Grid Substation. As such, you must have BESC & Competent Person. Banksman ticket advantageous. Must have Supervisory qualification (e.g. SSSTS, NVQ3, CSCS Gold Card) and crucially, a CURRENT HSG47 certificate. This person is to hold a National Grid Safety Document and Permit to Dig. The works involve buried services checks and drainage installation. There will be an initial period of hand-digging to locate existing services followed by approx. 6 weeks of machine / hand dig to install new drainage system. The candidate will be required to 'work', i.e. equal hands on with the rest of the working party

Mansion Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced groundworkers (with a confined spaces ticket or willing to take the 1 day course in Southend on Sea to then start the following day) for a site in the Southend, Essex area. Our client are looking for 2-3 groundworkers with at least 3-4 years experience with a vast majority being in Deep Drainage and pipe laying with various other areas of groundworks covered. You will need a valid CSCS card, confined spaces ticket and full ppe, tools are an advantage but not essential, other tickets such as a CPCS forward tipping dumper or Slinger/Banksman ticket would also be an advantage. You will be working on a new build development/infrastructure works, working Monday to Friday 7.30 am - 5.00 pm and the duration will be for around 6 months starting from the first week of January
