About the Football Foundation
The Football Foundation is the country's largest sports charity. It funds the improvement of public sports facilities across the country – especially grassroots football facilities.

The role
This is a great opportunity to use the technical skills gained in your degree to make a real difference to grassroots community football while gaining real hands-on practical experience of facility development. You will get involved in all technical aspects of the grant management process while working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you on your way to becoming a fully experienced Technical Project Manager.
You will take a hands-on approach, involving site visits and providing technical advice to a wide range of applicants – from schools and clubs to community groups. You will work towards having responsibility for a portfolio of projects across the country.

You must also have great people skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, from clients and suppliers to volunteers. As you will undertake site visits across the area, it will be desirable, though not essential, that you hold a current, clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

They have grown throughout the pandemic and have an impressive order book and are now looking to add a Graduate Structural Engineer to their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating structural designs for a range of domestic, commercial, industrial projects. You will be required to produce clearly presented calculation reports and drawings using AutoCAD, Tekkla and Revit. Ideally you will have a degree in either Structural or Civil Engineering. You will work closely alongside other Engineers and Directors as you learn and develop within the business.
This role would therefore ideally suit someone who is close to finishing their degree and looking to gain industry experience. The successful candidate will be motivated, hardworking and keen to progress in their career.

Knowledge and experience working on Steel Structures is a key part of the role. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential and use of Masterseries and Tekla Structural Designer is also advantageous. Experience and working knowledge of Eurocodes and / or British Standards is a requirement.
The day to day roles of the successful Graduate Structural Engineer will include ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner, supervising and advising technician staff and preparing detailed structural calculations. The successful Graduate Structural Engineer will also be required to attend client meetings and inspect and assessing existing steel framed structures.
