Client-side Estates Surveyor, Permanent job, Cambridgeshire, Salary up to £41,500 Your new company We're delighted to be supporting an organisation in Cambridgeshire who are looking to recruit a Chartered General Practice Surveyor or Estates Surveyor on a permanent basis. You'll be joining an experienced team of 16 staff who manage a diverse commercial property portfolio comprising of almost 800 assets which are valued at circa £1Bn. Your new role As a client-side chartered MRICS General Practice Surveyor you'll be dealing with a varied case load for a large and diverse commercial property portfolio. The property portfolio does have a few commercial investment properties within it but some of them are currently managed externally. The organisation has some owner occupier premises which includes educational buildings schools etc. Some properties are leased in and they also have properties leased or licensed out to third party occupiers. The work tends to be shared out amongst the team, so everyone has a variety of work. The core work is predominantly landlord and tenant work including rent reviews and leases renewals as well as property management. There will also be an opportunity to support with portfolio valuations, acquisitions/disposals, some development and CPO work. Experience of red book valuation and/or registered valuer status would be highly beneficial to the team.
