Freelance Site Manager required for Midlands based roofing contractor working on a 32 week contract on a complete replacement of a spray sheet roof on site of an existing data centre for the clients installation of new PV panels. Project is circa 1.5- 2 million in value and they will be acting as principal contractor for this project, you will be involved from inception of project taking the full programme from the Contracts Manager to deliver to completion and handover to client. Role will involve the supervision, control and health & safety for all subcontract labour, site inductions, subcontractor and client liaison including the chairing of all meetings along with progress reports to Contracts Manager and senior management team. 18 weeks of the project will also include scaffolding wrapping around the building so it will require someone that has got experience dealing with scaffolding packages, as associated works will involve phased erection/dismantling on areas of the building. You will also be required to check and compile snagging lists once PV panels have been installed for areas of works that may require repair/patch works if needed. Work will be Monday-Friday but weekends may also be required if not able to gain access during a normal working week CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are a mandatory requirement, telehandler license preferable but not essential.
