Site Manager Heritage Refurbishment Location: Marlborough area Day Rate: £250 all-in Start: ASAP Employment Type: Freelance Company: Size Group The Role Size Group is looking for a capable Site Manager to oversee works on a £25m+ grade 1 listed residential refurbishment project. The role covers multiple small sections including wellness areas, leisure spaces and associated listed structures. We need someone confident running a contained section independently while working within strict conservation requirements. Key Responsibilities • Plan day-to-day activities and manage subcontractors • Oversee site operations and ensure a high standard of delivery • Read drawings accurately and liaise with subcontractors • Proactively identify and resolve issues on site • Take ownership of H&S, inductions, and site set-up • Report to and collaborate with senior members of the team for support when needed Requirements • Experience working on Grade I or Grade II Listed / heritage projects • SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS • Strong organisation, planning and leadership skills • Able to work independently while managing multiple trades • Must live within one hour of site due to winter travel conditions Interview Process • Phone interview • Followed by an on-site visit If you have relevant heritage experience and can start immediately, apply now.
