Duties:- Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, hardwood, and welding of rolled vinyl with Cap & Cove to finish.- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area- Prepare the subfloor by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing- Remove old flooring materials if necessary- Apply adhesive or other bonding agents to secure the flooring materials in place- Use specialized tools and equipment to properly install the flooring- Ensure that the flooring is installed according to industry standards and specifications- Inspect the completed work for any defects or imperfections and make necessary repairs or adjustments Qualifications:- Previous experience as a floor layer or in a similar role is preferred- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and blueprints- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship- Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients Please contact Harvey f available
