One Call Consultants are currently looking for a Trainee Estimator / Quantity Surveyor for a current client of ours based in Coleshill, Warwickshire.
This a permanent role. Hours of work will be (Apply online only) Monday - Friday.
Pay rate will be between £25,000 - 30,000 per annum.
Duties will include;
* Raising Invoices
* Chasing debts
* Sending and chasing timesheets
* Working confidently on Microsoft systems
* Providing Quotes
* Understanding budgets
Training will be provided within the role to understand the business needs and requirements. Progression within the role and company is something that will occur. We are looking for somebody who is confident to join a rapidly growing team. Once transferring to a QS a company car will be provided.

* Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
* Write up final quotations for clients and follow up where appropriate
* Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
* Working as part of an estimating team of 3 supporting others where required
* Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
* Working on projects varying in value from £50k up to £2m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Curtain Walling experience with:
* Must have estimating experience within the construction industry, working with curtain walling, windows and doors, glazing, and facades
* Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
* Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
* Experience with AutoCAD
* Must have a sound understanding of building regulations
* Must be a proactive, open-minded and a motivated individual
* Must have high attention to detail
* Confident and articulate
* Full UK driving license

* A relevant HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction (highly desirable but not essential)
* Hold NRSWA qualification
* A minimum of two years experience as a Contract/Project Manager

* Reside within reasonable commuting distance.
* Experience of producing SHEQ documents of CDM regulations
* First class communication skills both written and verbal
