LINQ Recruitment are currently recruiting on the behalf of one of the most leading global specialist engineering company for experienced TBM Electricians across various locations in South London.
Duration; 5 Years +
Shifts; 7 days on 3 days off / 7 nights on 4 days off / 5 on 2 off
up to £370-£390 per shift based on 12 hours shifts.
Ring bonuses available per week
Responsibilities;
* Carrying out maintenance on tunnelling plant and equipment
* Carrying out unplanned maintenance and repairs on tunnelling plant and equipment
* Undertake installation of tunnelling electrical services
* Provide on-going installations as and when required
You must:
* Have previous TBM Mechanical /Electrical experience and knowledge
* Previous Tunnel boring electrical works (TBM)
* Relevant CSCS / ECS card
* UK right to work
* Checkable references

PTS Electricians required for a Rail Project in Bristol.
Working both Track Side and non Track Side.
First phase of the project will be to complete the compound and lighting towards the platform. (Day Shifts 10 hours) 6 Days Monday to Saturday.
Within the compound there will be:
- Sub/Transfer HV
- LV works, Dis Boards , etc.
- Cabin installs, lighting, power, etc.
- Covid Turnstiles / Gate
- Jet Fans
- 110 Power Supplies
The second phase will be working on a platform carrying out the installation of track lighting. There will be no protective barriers between the platform and tracks, therefore PTS is required.
There will be no overhead lines, therefore OLEC 1 is not a requirement.
Night shift, 10-12 hours.

IPAF will be beneficial

Our client are a leading A/C and Electrical Installation firm who are currently looking for a number of gold card Panel Electricians in the Huddersfield.
Night work (installation) will include:
Installing pre manufactured outstations onto air handling units
Each panel runs on a cat 5 network cable pulled into a new patch panel in the warehouse, this then is patched back to the main heating panel for communication with the bms system
We have to install a D.O.L starter to interrupt the feed to the fan motor which will be switched from the outstation, this also has trip detection which will notify the bms if the overload has tripped out
Measure any dampers that are faulty and record any faults on a check sheet at the end of each outstation installationDay work (panels) will include:
Modify lighting panel including removing dix modules and 2rm modules and replacing with srmv's wired fail safe
Removing overloads from contactors in main heating panel which control air handling units
Fitting ct's in main heating panel plus all remote panels to monitor running of plant
Fitting and wiring trend controllers into all panels
Assisting commissioning engineers in final commissioning and fault findingWe will cover any hotel costs with a daily food allowance + 12p per mile to cover fuel expenses (if travelling over 1.5 hours)
Hours: 8-12 Hours per day
