Complete monthly and annual testing procedures and record all maintenance and replacements in the relevant log books, ensuring installations comply with current regulations. Mentor, coach and develop apprentices and other members of staff. Ensure all repairs are completed within the specified time period, to the required standard and in accordance with current regulations and the driver handbook. Drive an allocated works vehicle in accordance with the driver handbook, including pre-inspecting work, identifying requirements and obtaining the resources, materials and plant needed to complete repairs to the required standard. Accurately record work time, materials and plant used to complete repairs, ensuring resources are maximised. Ensure the safe use and storage of all issued plant and report any defects. Carry out daily safety checks of the allocated works vehicle and record findings appropriately. Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, both internally and externally. Work safely and appropriately at all times, in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
