Maintenance Electrician Surrey / Hampshire 42,000 - 46,500 base Estimated Earnings 55,000 - 65,000 per annum PAYE - Paid Weekly. We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to be based in the Surrey / Hampshire regions to carry out planned maintenance (PPMs), alongside remedial works / fault finding and repairs within a range of commercial environments. As the Maintenance Electrician, you will be attending between 2 and 8 sites per day (dependant on workload and locations) and carrying out a wide range of electrical works such as flick tests, emergency lighting tests, lamps, ballasts, decorative lighting, internal/external security lighting, power distribution, transformers, wiring, cabling, sockets, circuits, floor boxes, power supplies to HVAC / fire and security systems, electrical accessories (mag locks etc), fire alarm tests, electrical components within building services systems and similar. Employment Package: Role: Maintenance Electrician Salary: 42,000 - 46,500 Expected Earnings: 55,000 - 65,000 per annum. Door to door (D2D) travel time paid after 30 minutes each way. Status: Permanent role - PAYE: Paid Weekly. Locations: Surrey / Hampshire - up to maximum of 50 mile radius of home address. Hours: 07:00am - 5:30pm INCLUDING travelling time. Site hours estimated 08:00 - 4:30 on average. On call rota: 1 in 6 weeks. 800 per year standby + D2D pay at overtime rates if called out. Paid overtime available: x1.5 - x2 rate. Provided: Company van, fuel card, uniform, specialist tools, pension, paid holidays (28 days) etc. Requirements: Must be a qualified Electrician, ie: City & Guilds Part 2 2360 / City & Guilds Level 3 2330 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Must have up to date regulations: City & Guilds 18th edition. Experience working within commercial environments is a large advantage but not essential. Testing and Inspection qualifications is not essential but highly preferable and offers a higher rate ( 46.5K) (City & Guilds 2391 OR 2394 & 2395) Must have a UK Driving License with under 9 points.
