Duties Assisting with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials Preparing sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety measures are in place Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision Assisting tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks Carrying out manual labour including lifting, digging, and moving materials Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Following health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment Skills Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery safely Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential; willingness to travel between sites is required This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
