Electrician - Permanent - Midlands with Nationwide travel - Salary equiv. £35,000+ plus benefits AndersElite are recruiting for permanent Electricians on behalf of a well-established and successful building services company operating on nationwide projects, typically in the shopfitting and retail / commercial sectors. Candidates can be based anywhere but due to the fact that projects will be nationwide it is thought those based in the Midlands region will be at an advantage. In order to apply for this role you must have a valid UK driving license and be prepared to travel anywhere in the UK, to include overnight lodging when required. Some weekend work may also be expected. In order to apply you must be a fully qualified Electrician, ideally with 18th Edition and a gold ECS card as well as experience in working on fast track commercial / retail / shopfit projects. Duties will be typical of electrical installation in the shop refurb / retail sector, working on nationwide projects for well-known retail giants on both refurbishment and new build sites. Remuneration is based on £16.00 - £17.00 per hour, on a permanent contract. This is based on working a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week with the likelihood that some weeks as many as 20+ overtime hours could be available, depending on the needs of the project, particularly when lodging away from home. Estimated annual income depending on overtime hours worked is likely to be at least £35,000-£40,000 per annum.
