Electrical Contract Manager Location: Office-based in Bellshill with some travel required Electrical Contract Manager. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join a well-established and growing Facilities Management business. This is a key operational and technical position, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical contracts across a mixture of domestic and commercial properties . You will oversee the day-to-day performance of contracts, ensuring planned and reactive electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and to the required standards. Alongside contract management, you will provide technical leadership to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, with responsibility for electrical compliance, quality assurance and overall service delivery. The role covers a broad range of electrical services including installation, maintenance, inspection and testing , as well as renewable technologies such as Solar PV and battery storage systems . The Role Managing the day-to-day delivery and performance of electrical contracts across domestic and commercial properties Overseeing planned, reactive and remedial electrical works, ensuring agreed timescales and quality standards are achieved Ensuring compliance with NICEIC requirements, current Wiring Regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures Reviewing and approving electrical certification, inspection reports, test results and associated compliance documentation Providing technical leadership, advice and support to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors Monitoring contract performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs, budgets and programme requirements Planning and allocating labour, materials and subcontractor resources to ensure effective contract delivery Carrying out quality assurance inspections, site audits and electrical compliance checks Investigating and resolving technical issues, defects, non-compliance matters and customer concerns Managing and monitoring engineer and subcontractor performance, workload and adherence to required standards Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to ensure successful contract delivery Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality and cost control Maintaining accurate contract records, reports, schedules, certification and compliance documentation Promoting safe working practices and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with risk assessments, method statements and electrical safety procedures The Person We are looking for an experienced electrical professional who combines a strong technical background with previous experience managing electrical contracts, projects, engineers or operational teams . You will need: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent Strong knowledge of electrical compliance, certification, inspection and testing Previous experience managing electrical contracts, projects, engineers, subcontractors or operational teams Experience working with budgets, KPIs, SLAs and contractual performance Ability to review technical information and identify and resolve compliance issues Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills Confident client and stakeholder management skills Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience The following would be advantageous, although not essential: NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status or experience within an NICEIC-accredited environment Solar PV and/or battery storage experience or qualifications Experience within social housing, Facilities Management, planned maintenance, construction or property services IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety qualification Package & Benefits 44,341 salary rising to 46,700 after a successful probation period Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Company sick pay Private healthcare plan Free on-site parking Retail discount scheme Discounted gym membership Employee Assistance Programme and mental wellbeing support 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays Option to purchase up to 3 additional days of annual leave 1 paid volunteer day per year 500 refer-a-friend bonus This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Contract Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Electrical QS or senior electrical professional looking to take responsibility for the delivery and performance of a varied electrical contract portfolio.
