The company are an industry leader in their field delivering a number of solutions on bridges & structures nationwide. This large main contractor's specialisms include: Bridge Jacking, Bearing Replacement, Bridge Decking Upgrades, Mechanical Movement Joints, Parapet Renewals, Expansion Joints & general Concrete Repairs / Waterproofing. Projects fall within: Highways, Rail, Nuclear & more. Project values up to 10m. They operate as part of a larger Tier 1 company group with a turnover of 3bn+ meaning significant financial backing, security and the utmost priority on staff development. They're well know throughout this specialist industry for growing some of the most technically competent Engineers & Managers with their high standards. The pipeline of work for this contractor is extensive and spanning several sectors hence the need to bring in some key staff across their offices UK-wide. You will be joining a friendly, collaborative team within a contractor well known for supporting its staff and delivering technically complex civil engineering projects to a high standard. The business has recently secured a significant uplift in workload as part of a four-year, £750 million framework with the UK MOD s Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) . The programme will deliver essential infrastructure to support and sustain the UK s submarine fleet for decades to come. The Role This is a fully site-based position, working across a variety of schemes with individual project values ranging from £500k to £30m , including: Large civil engineering structures Concrete repairs and maintenance Marine-based civil engineering works Reporting into the Site Agent / Senior Project Manager , you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
