We are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced Construction Administrator with excellent attention to detail and a proven track record in contributing to the success of new housing projects. This will be a fun and rewarding role for the right person. Key Skills: Project Coordination: performing take-offs from drawings Proficient in the preparation of Excel spreadsheets for build programmes, financial and procurement data, managing project schedules and associated documentation. Liaising and communicating with all involved parties such as Site Managers, Sales & Marketing Team, office staff and external agencies Identify and address issues promptly to minimise disruptions, resolve problems and keep projects on track. Procurement of materials and services to include negotiating price, payment and delivery terms, placing purchase orders and updating the Purchase Order Log. Manage logistics, site visits and deliveries to ensure the smooth running of the project. Compliance: working with NHBC and other applicable regulators to register new house plots, administer the signing off for planning conditions and address any aftersales. Liaise with the professional team to include architects, surveyors, contractors and clients to ensure all projects adhere to industry standards. Ensure health and safety legislation and requirements are met, including induction, procurement, monitoring and reporting Administrative Skills: managing and updating information and records, filing, reporting, handling correspondence including phone calls, emails & letters, printing using plotter and printer General administrative duties for Head Office & sites as required Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word & Excel Helping to establish and maintain office procedures Account management experience to process supplier invoices and retention payments Person Specification The criteria listed in this Person Specification are essential to the job.
