Junior/ Intermediate Architectural Technologist (AutoCAD) |East Midlands
Up to £25,000 (depending on experience)
An established practice based in the East Midlands, have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior/ Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their team on a permanent basis. The architectural department is highly established and very successful practice, working across a wide range of exciting sectors including; Food, Industrial, Education, Residential, Health, Sport and Leisure. We are looking to speak with technicians (preferably qualified, but not essential) to degree level in BSc Architectural Technology.
To work a Junior/ Intermediate Architectural Technologist you must:
Ideally you will already have architectural experience within the UK
Ideally you will have a degree in Architectural Technology
Have a good understanding of Revit
Have excellent Microsoft Office skills
Have a good knowledge of Building Regulations
Be competent in measured surveys
Be able to use own initiative.
You must be able to work on their own and also as part of a teamTo work as a Junior/ Intermediate Architectural Technologist you will be:
Working along-side the Director, producing accurate 3D Surveys and Visuals
Supporting Senior Technologists as and when required
Producing planning application drawings
Developing further detailed stages suitable for building regulation applications, tender and construction drawings
Conducting measured Surveys
Writing specifications
Handling tenders
Liaising with clients

With offices in Leeds and London, this company have grown over the last 40 years and boast a proud philosophy resulting in the high quality design they have developed a strong reputation for.
The bulk of our clients work comes in the retail sector, where they have work alongside a number of the industries largest contractors on flagship developments in cities and town centres across the country. However if this isn't for you, with work across a number of sectors including retail, residential, commercial and education this practice will give you a great opportunity to develop your skillset across a number of wide ranging developments.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in an Architectural practice. Experience using Microstation and Revit would be preferred, however on the job training is provided.
To recap, the successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years experience post graduation
- Experience on Microstation and Revit preferable
- Must be confident, ambitious and willing to step up
