A need has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Fitter to join the team based at our Solihull Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Working in the Final Assembly area of our factory, building our tankers after the paint process has been completed
Fitting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to our tankers
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations
Full training will be given to the right individual
Job Requirements:
Essential:
Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
Ability to understand drawings
Ability to use your own initiative
Team working
Attention to detail, working to high standards
Being mechanically minded
Ability to work under pressure
Desirable:
Experience in or an aptitude for vehicle electrical systems would be beneficial
Background working in a production environment particularly body building

You will be responsible for the assembly of various conveyor systems across the site. This role will also involve the assembly of mechanical subassemblies and pipework.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assembly of conveyor systems
* Production of mechanical subassemblies
* Able to work individual and as part of a team.
* Able to work and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
