We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, positive and confident Flood Risk Consultant for our Flood Risk and Water Management Team. Work closely with senior staff to enable delivery of the wider teams' workload

At least two years' experience of hydraulic modelling using either: Flood Modeller, Tuflow, InfoWorks ICM, Hec-RAS.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong civil engineering background, having worked on a range of highways / drainage projects. You must have experience running projects and also have useful contacts in the industry. This role is an expansion of their current team, so you must be able to deliver some form of business development.

Joining the North West office of this leading main contractor you will be working on a 3-storey steel frame medical project in the Greater Manchester area. On this project your duties will include all setting out and quality checking reporting into the onsite Project Manager. With a strong order book this contractor can offer job security with a pipeline of work in-excess of £400m.
Duties
Working as the onsite Site Engineer your duties will include accurate setting out of site activities including, drainage, piling, groundworks, concrete and steel frame structures, working to required specifications and drawings, accurate record keeping, checking sub contract works, site supervision, quality control and design co-ordination on work packages amongst others.
