Carrying out project reviews at the end of each project, with site managers and contracts director, including performance reviews of subcontractors and suppliers. Reporting weekly progress of projects under your control to the Contracts Director. Additional Requirements: Experience in managing others and good leadership / people management skills. Good understanding and technical knowledge of the construction industry, including the ability to read architectural drawings and understand the construction process. We're looking for a Repairs Surveyor to inspect properties, diagnose building issues, manage contractors, and ensure repairs are completed to the organisation's standards. You'll handle Damp, Mould & Condensation inspections, specify remedial works, and make sure repairs are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellent customer satisfaction. Experience carrying out assessments in line with the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Understanding of responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and cyclical works. Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision. Experience managing contractors and monitoring performance. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing, face-to-face, and by phone. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/property management systems. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload while working remotely and maintaining accurate records. Full UK driving licence. Desirable experience: Knowledge of the social housing sector. Experience working in a commercially aware environment. Qualifications Essential: Level 4 qualification (HNC in Surveying, Construction & the Built Environment, or equivalent). Evidence of ongoing professional development.
