Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a reliable, vigilant Fire Marshal / Fire Watcher to join our client s safety team at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading. This is a crucial night-shift role ensuring the ongoing fire safety of the premises through active fire-waking patrols.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular fire-waking patrols throughout the night
• Identify and report fire hazards promptly
• Monitor alarms and follow safety procedures
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
• Support onsite teams in maintaining a safe environment

Requirements

• Must be local to Reading or able to travel reliably to the site
• Previous fire marshal/fire watcher experience is ideal
• SIA licence beneficial, but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert during overnight shifts
• Must be able to work over the Christmas period
