Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Hampshire

Salary: 40-46,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production, coordination, and delivery of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information
  • Manage projects through all design stages, ensuring technical rigour and design quality throughout
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growth
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve complex technical and construction challenges
  • Ensure all work complies with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and sustainability standards
  • Contribute to the development of BIM processes and help establish technical best practices across the studio

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience within an architectural practice, ideally in a senior or technical leadership role
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (advanced BIM experience highly advantageous)
  • In-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction techniques, and material specifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently and lead on technical delivery
