Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: 80,000 - 100,000 + Car Allowance

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role, you must possess the following:

• Experience as a Commercial Manager within a roofing subcontractor environment
• Strong understanding of flat and pitched roofing, cladding, and envelope systems
• Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and CVRs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial tools
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction (preferred)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Duties

• Client-facing with a professional, solution-focused approach
• Manage commercial aspects of roofing projects from tender to final account
• Support pre-construction with enquiries, take-offs, and pricing
• Lead subcontract procurement and contract administration
• Monitor project performance, valuations, variations, and change control
• Work with operations teams to maintain cost, quality, and programme
• Produce accurate monthly CVRs and forecasts
• Ensure commercial procedure compliance and implement improvements
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Support handovers, final accounts, and project sign-off
