Site Engineer

Overview

Clarion Housing is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to provide one-day cover at The Boatyard development in Bristol, with the possibility of further days as the project progresses. The engineer will support the site team with essential setting-out duties, QA checks and coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out as required for ongoing works.

• Complete levels, measurements and as-built checks.

• Review drawings and ensure technical accuracy on site.

• Support the Site Manager with engineering queries and coordination.

• Assist with quality assurance inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Provide a clear written or verbal handover report at the end of the shift.

Requirements

• 3 5+ years experience as a Site Engineer in residential or mixed-use construction.

• Proficient with modern setting-out equipment (Leica/Trimble).

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and construction processes.

• Confident communicator who can integrate quickly into a live project environment.

• Valid CSCS card (Engineer/Technical).

• Must be available tomorrow and able to travel to Bristol.

Additional Information

• Initially 1 day, but further shifts may be offered depending on project needs and engineer performance.

• Immediate start required.

• Working directly with Clarion Housing s site team.
