Traffic Marshall

Are you a vigilant and certified traffic marshall available for an immediate contract role? We are seeking a reliable individual to manage vehicle and pedestrian flow on a new build housing development in Hessle.

You will be critical to maintaining site safety and efficient logistics during this busy period, ensuring all site traffic operates safely. Duties include:

• Directing and managing the movement of construction vehicles, deliveries, and plant in and out of the site entrance and across the development.
• Controlling access for site vehicles and personnel.
• Communicating clearly with drivers using established hand signals and, where necessary, radio.
• Ensuring clear segregation between vehicles and pedestrians at all times.
• Promptly reporting any traffic hazards, incidents, or breaches of safety protocol to the Site Manager.

• A valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification or ticket is mandatory.
• A valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Previous experience managing traffic on a busy construction or residential site.
• Strong commitment to site Health and Safety.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, authoritative manner.
• High level of reliability and punctuality for the duration of the contract.
