Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Think Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing commercial fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Senior QS / Commercial Manager. This is a key hire as the business continues to expand, offering a genuine opportunity to take ownership of the commercial function and help shape how it operates.

You'll lead the commercial delivery of multiple fit-out projects, typically 1m- 10m, overseeing everything from subcontract procurement to valuations and variation management. The role combines hands-on project involvement with the chance to influence commercial processes at a senior level.

• Manage commercial performance across live fit-out projects

• Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation and contract placement

• Oversee valuations, applications and variation recovery

• Review and negotiate JCT contracts

• Maintain accurate CVRs and commercial reporting

• Advise project teams and senior leadership on commercial matters

• Help establish and strengthen internal commercial systems as the team grows

• Senior QS / Commercial Manager with fit-out or build experience ( 1m- 10m projects)

• Strong understanding of JCT contracts

• Proven track record in procurement, valuations and variations

• Commercially sharp, detail-driven and confident working with clients, subcontractors and directors

• Leadership potential - someone who wants to grow a commercial team
