Electrical Estimator

About the Company:

With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, we are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate electrical estimates.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies by sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and designers, to deliver comprehensive bid proposals.
• Assist with value engineering initiatives to optimize project delivery while maintaining quality.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, costs, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial, education, or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving license.
