Our client, a leading engineering & construction contractor, is looking for a Commercial Manager to support key Energy projects in Aberdeenshire.

With a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in sustainable energy infrastructure, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of the UK s energy transition.

What You ll Do

• Manage all commercial aspects of projects & liaise with key stakeholders
• Lead monthly cost and value reconciliation reviews
• Handle contractual changes: variations, contractor claims, early warnings
• Work with the Project Director to manage risk registers
• Lead & mentor the commercial project team
• Oversee procurement to deliver commercially advantageous outcomes
• Maximise cash position via WIP control & cash flow improvements
• Monitor contractor costs weekly & provide actionable insights
• Support programme management & drive continuous commercial improvement

About You

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent
• Strong experience in Civil Engineering/Construction commercial roles
• Expert knowledge of NEC & other standard contracts
• Understanding of programming techniques & project controls
