Banksman / Slinger (with Traffic Marshal Experience) Location: Ashford, Kent Project: New Build Leisure Centre Contract Type: Long-Term Freelance (32-52 Weeks) Salary: Competitive, paid weekly 16.00 - 18.00 per hour Start Date: ASAP - Monday 24th November About the Role: We are currently recruiting an experienced Banksman/Slinger who also holds a valid Traffic Marshal ticket to join a reputable main contractor on a major new-build leisure centre project in Ashford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established team on a high-profile development. The ideal candidate needs to be an all-rounder in this regard (experience as banksman/ slinger/ gate man/ traffic marshal) with experience in labouring on site. Key Responsibilities: Safely directing plant, vehicles, and lifting operations on site Slinging and signalling for crane lifts Managing vehicle movements and ensuring safe access/egress routes Coordinating with site management and subcontractors Maintaining a safe and organised working area Adhering to site safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents Requirements: Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification Valid Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman ticket Previous experience working on large construction sites Strong understanding of health & safety procedures Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team PPE and right to work in the UK What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Weekly pay Ongoing work with a respected main contractor Supportive site team and good working conditions How to Apply: If you meet the requirements and are available to start immediately, please apply now with your CV and contact details.
