50,000- 60,000 + benefits (no car allowance)

I'm currently working with a consultancy who are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join their expanding M&E and Net Zero team at their Nottingham office.

You'll work alongside the Managing Engineer who's building and leading a talented M&E team. With several junior and intermediate engineers in place, they now need a technically strong Senior to take ownership of projects, mentor others, and deliver high-quality mechanical design work.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical design on refurbishment and retrofit projects
• Undertake site surveys, assessments and detailed design
• Produce designs, specifications and reports using Hevacomp / IES / AutoCAD / Revit
• Support and develop junior engineers
• Help deliver low-carbon and energy-efficient building solutions

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' post-qualification experience in Building Services Engineering
• Strong background in refurbishment and retrofit - essential
• Consultancy or contracting background (either is fine)
• Confident leading projects and working directly with clients
• Degree in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered or working towards
• Within commuting distance of Nottingham
