CDM Principal Designer

The CDM Principal Designer will work across a variety of projects, supporting clients through the full design and construction lifecycle. If you are a self-starter who can work autonomously, then you will thrive in this professionally yet collaborative environment.

The CDM Principal Designer's role

The appointed CDM Principal Designer will:

• Carry out Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015
• Lead on health and safety in design stages
• Liaise with clients and attend design meetings
• Produce relevant H&S documentation
• Assist with internal training and mentoring

The CDM Principal Designer

• 4 years' experience in CDM Principal Designer role (essential)
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
• APS Membership or TechIOSH (preferred)
• Knowledge of public sector procurement (desirable)
• Professional and collaborative communicator
