Draughtsman/Steel Detailer Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum - Negotiable dependent on experience Permanent position Our client is one of the leading fabrications and installation companies providing structural and architectural metal work for the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailer to join their team in Wilden. Car driver essential due to company location. The ideal candidate will already have experience using modern software packages. Responsibilities & Duties * Read & understand drawings by Structural Engineers and Architects * Site Surveys * 3D CAD Modelling using Advance Steel of structural and architectural steelwork such as portal frames, mezzanine floors, staircases and balustrading. * General Assembly drawings * Assembly and part drawings * Liaising with clients, structural engineers, architects and fabricators * Raising RFIs for missing information * Noting changes in design information and raising variation of services Experience & Qualifications * Experience as a steel detailer essential * Trained in modern software packages * Experience in/with the fabrication industry * Using hand measurement tools such as lasers to measure site * Comfortable surveying on site - CSCS card holder advantageous Response Personnel, an independently owned company and experts in recruitment since 1997.
