New Building Control Opportunity .

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Building Control Surveyor to join its team on an initial 6-month contract dealing with a number of complex and high-risk buildings, including high-rise structures.
,Key Duties will include:

Leading and managing building control operations.Providing expert guidance and oversight on regulatory matters, enforcement, and statutory compliance.Engaging effectively with stakeholders, including developers, residents, and internal teams.
A qualified Building Control Surveyor (ideally Class 3 or 4 level competency, including Class 3H) should have extensive experience in local authority building control, including enforcement and statutory compliance, as well as proven leadership skills and a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications.

Full professional membership with one or more of the following is also desirable:

RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)CABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers)CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building)MIoF (Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers)The ability to work and be office-based, ideally for 3 days per week, is also essential.
