Job Description

Lead C&S Engineer

We have a requirement for Lead C&S Engineer in our design team, to lead and manage projects from conception to handover phase to work with our top tier COMAH Clients, in a secured projects.

Accountabilities:

Project Management:

Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects from conception to completion.

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project coordination.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and expertise in civil and structural engineering design and analysis.

Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure the application of best practices.

Team Management:

Supervise and mentor a team of civil and structural engineers, providing guidance and support.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance team performance.

Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development.

Client Interaction:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on civil and structural engineering matters.

Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of engineering deliverables.

Conduct thorough reviews of project documentation to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.

Interface with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Proven experience in civil and structural engineering with a focus on project management.

Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Leadership experience in managing engineering teams.

Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
