This is a pivotal opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a premier Tier 1 Contractor during a period of significant infrastructure growth in 2026. You will lead the pre-construction phase for high-profile civil engineering projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bidding that balances technical innovation with commercial risk management. Operating within a collaborative bid environment, you will take ownership of major tenders from initial enquiry to final adjudication, pricing work from first principles to secure our next generation of flagship projects. Key Responsibilities Analytical Estimating: Produce detailed, analytical estimates from first principles for major civils work, including earthworks, drainage, and structural concrete. Bid Leadership: Coordinate bid activities and manage multiple contributors to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant tender submissions. Value Engineering: Challenge designs and construction methodologies to propose alternative solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Supply Chain Management: Compile comprehensive enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers, assessing quotations to find the best fit for the business.
