Duties and responsibilities for the Structural Engineer will include: Acting as technical lead on projects large and small Liaising with and leading other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets the Clients objectives Undertaking analysis and design using a range of software packages and from first principles Ensuring that quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports etc.) are maintained Preparing high quality technical reports and calculations to support internal and external sign off Liaise and work with the internal team of other mechanical/structural engineers and contract/business managers, and external parties such as experimental testing facilities and Universities.
