Electrical Estimator – Solent Core Group are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients team on a permanent basis. Salary: £40-£45k Job Purpose To prepare detailed and accurate estimates/quotations submitting in a timely manner to meet return deadlines ensuring compliance with tender, QHSE specification and legislative requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Review tender documents Carry out site surveys Identify and potential risks / issues with tenders Complete tender documentation Follow-up submitted tenders with clients and involvement with any post tender meetings Invite and collect quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers Actively seek enquiries and invitations for potential projects Research materials, equipment and labour costs Analysing company data, rates and prices, using software packages Take off materials, quantities from drawings and plans Produce Bills of Quantities Handover projects in a clear and defined manner to the contracts operation team Provide a knowledge and a high proficiency of commercial acumen in all bids and quotations To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required Essential Skills/Qualifications High level of attention to detail Strong interpersonal and organisational skills Excellent communication skills Proven track record and related qualifications and experience in line with this role JIB/ECS Gold Card Full UK driving licence What You'll Get In Return Flexible working options are available and you will manage your own diary in many ways.
