Our client, a well-established RIBA charted architectural practice are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their expanding team in Uckfield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to work on a variety of exciting, large-scale projects within the residential, mixed-use and educational sectors.
The most successful Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist should have at least 3 years' previous experience working as either a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist. Proficiency with Revit software and high technical ability will also be key for the most successful candidate. A high quality portfolio should also be able to be displayed on request. Projects include a variety of small to large-scale projects predominantly within the residential sector as well as some projects in the mixed-use and educational sectors. Our client has a reputation of delivering high-quality projects to its clientele.
Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview
The development of complex designs into working drawings; submission of planning and Building Regulations applications; the preparation of production information and tender packages
Supervise the work of other members of the project team to ensure accurate production of packages within dedicated timescales
Liaison with clients as required, including the presentation of schemes to clients.
Administration of construction contracts, including preparation of costed job plans for projects and execute those jobs to plan and to time
Contribution to overall risk reduction; the promotion repeat business from existing clients; the preparation of management reports. Compliance with and promotion of office policies and procedures
To develop a relevant field of expertise and to mentor and supervise junior members of the team.
To undertake other duties as assigned from time to time
Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements
5+ years' experience as an Architectural Technician / Technologist or Senior role
Positive attitude
Knowledge of NBS specifications would be an advantage
Hard working & motivated individual
Excellent communication skills
Good technical ability
Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration
Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
20 days holiday, increasing to 23 with 2 years' service
